Luge Wins Lift Nordique Combined Into First

Nordique Combined got a huge performance from the German lugers tonight, taking a big 16.7 point gold medal as well as an 8.3 point silver. That, combined with a bronze from USA freestyle skiing, moved the team into first place after the weekend's competition.

Adam Claus's Ice Lugers took the gold in men's moguls courtesy of Canada's Alexandre Bilodeau and a questionable judging decision. Favorite Dale Begg-Smith (John Binz/Da Nang Dynamos) settled for silver.
I cannot write any more, for I am too overcome with emotion by the majesty - and the beauty and the romance - of Chinese figure skating. Here are the standings.

  1. Yeah but those luge wins were expected. Bloam was the weekend's clear winner.
