Spence, Sadaly Get 25 Point Medals

Two previously hapless teams picked up valuable 25 point medals in skeleton last night. Dave Spence's Paragons took the women's gold medal with Great Britain (Amy Williams) and moved into sixth place. Joy Sadaly's Olympic Ring Worm Wood Stock Market District Attorney won the men's gold with Team Canada (Jon Montgomery) and moved out of the cellar.
Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to see any of that action live, or much of the action at all. Even though the women's fourth race started before 8 p.m. NBC waited until after 11 to show a few runs. On the men's side nothing came on until after midnight, and the tape delayed competition was sandwiched around a pointless interview with Stephen Colbert.

Winning the afternoon medals were Zach Chromiak's Banker's Club (Norway Alpine skiing) and John Binz's Da Nang Dynamos (Norway cross country skiing). Binz continued to lead the competition with Tim Lavoie moving up to second thanks to a silver and a bronze from German women's seleton.
