Analysis: While this team is reasonably deep, Nordique Combined will live or die with Canadian hockey. They probably need the full 100 points in hockey to have a chance to win, but will be extremely tough to beat if that happens. Canada is favored in both competitions. The women's side only has one real rival, USA, but the men's side is notoriously unpredictable with eight teams probably having a chance to medal.

With his other top picks, manager Brian Schwartz opted to take stronger teams in the 50 point events. Germany Luge leads the medal count every Olympics and will probably take close to 50 points if not more. USA Freestyle Skiing is ranked first but the group is relatively wide open. Norway Nordic Combined is the second best team in its namesake event, and China Curling is a virtual lock to get at least silver in the women's competition. Sweden Cross Country is also a top team and could be a big point scorer.

More rosters and stuff will be posted tomorrow.
