Cross Country Gold Extends Schwartz Lead

Brian Schwartz's Nordique Combined continued its resurgence by winning the women's 10k cross country skiing race. Sweden's Charlotte Kalla finished 6.6 seconds ahead of her nearest competitor giving Schwartz an 8.3 point gold medal. Kristina Šmigun-Vähi of Estonia (Dave Spence/Paragons) took the silver and Marit Bjørgen of Norway (Zach Chromiak/Banker's Club) won bronze.
This blog also put forth a dominant performance, picking the three medalists correctly with the only error being switching silver and bronze. Nordique Combined now leads the Fantasy Winter Olympics by 11.8 points.
